FOXHOLES Report

Portsmouth
Motocross Club held Round 7 of the Summer Championships at Foxholes recently.
First
out were the Seniors, and pulling a huge lead to get away from the pack was
Richard Leat.
Leat takes the overall win.
Second overall goes to Joe Stevens, who dug deep to put pressure on
Leat and rode well to take a win in race three.
Luke Blanchard takes third overall with Carl Chandler taking fourth.
A great holeshot by Harvey MacDonald in the first race drove him to
claim a great fifth overall, leaving Tom Moore to complete the top six.
Next
to go were the Inter Open. Jamie Tempest takes the overall with some brilliant
riding and great holeshots.
Daniel Latham had a good battle with Tempest, they both managed to
break away leaving a battle between third and fourth place.
Sam Sunderland grabbed two 2nds to take second overall with Sam Gabriel
taking third with a fantastic 2nd in race two.
Daniel Latham takes fourth overall.
Ryan Leat and Thomas Speer complete the top six respectively.
Next
to go were the Autos and Fraser Viner hit the top spot yet again with three
spectacular wins.
His holeshots put him in the lead where he stayed until the finish.
Second overall is awarded to visitor Joe Collier.
Third place goes to Oliver Osmaston who rode consistently well all day.
Fourth overall goes to Joshua Broadway who also rode consistently well
with a hattrick of fourth positions.
Levi Coombes and Liam Knight complete the top six.
Next
to go were the Inter 85s and first out of the gate with a brilliant holeshot
was the overall winner Sebastian Osbourne.
Osbourne takes three convincing wins.
Second overall goes to Lewis Trickett who raced hard and battled with
Lewis Abbott.
Abbott took a 2nd in race three to claim third overall.
Fourth overall goes to Jack Plowman, even though he slipped off just
before the chequered flag!
Charlie Hughes and Jackson Evans complete the top six respectively.
Next
to go were the Juniors and into the top slot goes Jake Shipton.
Shipton had to great wins with a huge lead.
Visitor Luke Newman takes second overall after some great battles with
Ryan Butler.
Tom Ellwood takes third overall and showed tremendous skill when
controlling his bike after an awkward start in the last race.
Ryan Butler settles for fourth overall with a brilliant 3rd
placing in the last race.
Lloyd Pettett and visitor Jack Thames complete the top six
respectively.
Next
out were the mighty VMX and a huge battle was to be had between first and
second. This
group certainly entertained.
Top spot goes to Richard Paine who took two great wins.
Second overall is awarded to Chad Sait who claimed a great win in race
two. Paul
Rusby comes in at third overall, equalling on points with Martin Bradbury,
with Bradbury taking fourth overall.
Vince Carpenter and Gary Castle complete the top six, with each
claiming a fantastic 6th position in races two and three
respectively.
It doesn’t go unnoticed that this group always congratulate each
other after each race. Nice
one boys!
Last to go were the AMX and blasting into a brilliant top slot was Brett Wheeler who claimed a mind-boggling holeshot. Some great battles were to be seen, Wheeler took two convincing wins. Second overall goes to Ian Tallack and some really close racing was to be seen. Tallack claimed a great 2nd placing in race two. Third overall is awarded to Phil Lewis, who rode well to claim a 2nd in the last race. Visitor Carl Warwick takes fourth overall, leaving Ian Smith and Dan Umlandt to complete the top six respectively.
