Riders – THE SEASON HAS ARRIVED – PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING

Well, it’s finally arrived, the start of the PMXC race season!

Obviously due to COVID-19 it’s going to be a bit different this year, but we will try to keep it as “normal” as possible

BOOKING IN FOR CUSSES GORSE ON 2ND MAY WILL OPEN TOMORROW, MONDAY 19TH APRIL AT 9AM 

Any emails received before this time will be deleted. 

BOOKING IN WILL CLOSE AT 6PM SHARP ON FRIDAY 30TH APRIL – Any emails received after this time will be deleted (any cancellation emails will be noted) 

THERE WILL BE NO BOOKING IN ON RACE DAY!

ALL MEETINGS FOR THE 2021 WILL BE PRE-PAY ONLY 

Riders must follow these simple instructions to book in:

1. EMAIL pmxcbooking@gmail.com – DO NOT TRY TO BOOK IN ANY OTHER WAY AS YOUR MESSAGE WILL BE DELETED (this includes messaging on Facebook, texting or telephoning)

2. Leave your rider(s) name, riding group and riding number

3. If you require an Auto/Junior Trackside bib, please indicate this on the email too (first-come, first-served)

4. The booking in secretary will email a PROVISIONAL ENTRY EMAIL

5. You have 48 HOURS TO PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE from receipt of this email

6. Once payment has been received, you will be sent a CONFIRMATION ENTRY EMAIL

7. This email will have an ACU Entry Form attached to it. THIS FORM MUST BE PRINTED (ONE PER RIDER), COMPLETED AND HANDED IN ON YOUR ARRIVAL TO THE RACE MEETING

8. If you fail to pay within 48 hours, your provisional space will be cancelled and offered to another rider. You can attempt to re-book if space is available, but again you must PAY before any space is confirmed

NO SPECTATORS PERMITTED AT RACING FOR THE TIME BEING. Only immediate family who live in the same support bubble as the rider can attend 

THERE MUST BE ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER RIDER – Gates will be shut after the last entrant has arrived, nobody else will be permitted into the paddock

ALL RIDERS/ATTENDEES MUST BRING THEIR OWN FACE MASKS AND HAND SANITIZER 

FACE MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIME WHEN NOT AT YOUR OWN VEHICLE 

To minimise risk of contamination, you must only view your own rider’s groups

Signing on will be carried out on entry to the paddock

Scrutineering will be carried out from 8am (further details to follow)

Trade stand, photographer and burger van will be at each meeting – PLEASE RESPECT THE SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES OF 2M!

CUSSES GORSE – THERE IS TO BE NO CAMPING AT THIS EVENT. DOGS ARE ALLOWED BUT MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES, AND THEIR “MESS” MUST BE PICKED UP

IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL OR HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS (PERSISTENT COUGH, HIGH TEMPERATURE [38o OR HIGHER], LOSS OF SMELL OR TASTE) PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND – MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL BOOKING-IN (pmxcbooking@gmail.com) TO CANCEL 

PLEASE BE AWARE I WILL NOT SEND ANY FURTHER REMINDER EMAILS TO YOU TO BOOK IN FOR THIS OR ANY FUTURE MEETING, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BOOK IN – ALL DETAILS ARE IN THE RIDERS HANDBOOK THAT YOU WERE EMAILED WHEN YOU JOINED THE CLUB

Please remember both Jackie & Myself work all week (and sometimes weekends), so cannot respond to your emails immediately.  We will contact you as quickly as we can!
